Privacy Policy

AtlasAdapt LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through atlasadapt.com and our interactive demo, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have — including under the EU and UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Effective date: 18 July 2026

AtlasAdapt LLC ("AtlasAdapt", "we", "us" or "our") is a limited liability company based in Orlando, Florida, USA. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data when you visit atlasadapt.com (the "Site") or use our interactive demonstration and estimation tools (the "Demo"). AtlasAdapt provides property -resilience intelligence to businesses; the Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. This policy is published in English; where we make translations available, they are provided for convenience only and the English-language version prevails in the event of any conflict.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

AtlasAdapt LLC is the controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at contact@atlasadapt.com. Mailing address: [ADDRESS TO BE ADDED ON FORMATION], Orlando, Florida, USA.

2. The personal data we collect

We collect only the data needed to operate the Site, respond to enquiries and improve our services:

  • Information you give us — when you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, any company name or message you include, and the fact and time of your enquiry.
  • Property address you enter in the Demo — to return location, FEMA flood-zone and natural-hazard information, the address you type is sent to our server and looked up against public data sources. We cache the result for up to 30 days to speed up repeat lookups.
  • Other Demo inputs — figures such as household size, income band and property characteristics are processed in your browser to calculate on-screen estimates and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
  • Usage and device data — if you consent to analytics cookies, we collect standard analytics data such as pages viewed, referring links, approximate location derived from your IP address, and browser and device type, via Google Analytics 4.
  • Security data — to prevent spam and abuse of our contact form we use Google reCAPTCHA and a hidden "honeypot" field, which may process device and interaction signals.

We do not intentionally collect special-category (sensitive) personal data, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to make the Site work and remember your preferences. We use Google Analytics cookies only where you have given consent through our cookie banner, which implements Google Consent Mode v2 and denies analytics and advertising storage by default until you choose to accept. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie controls on the Site.

4. How we use your data and our legal bases

Under the EU and UK GDPR we rely on the following legal bases:

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide requested information — our legitimate interests and taking steps at your request before any contract.
  • To provide the Demo and its estimates — our legitimate interests in operating and demonstrating our services.
  • To measure and improve the Site using analytics — your consent.
  • To keep the Site secure and prevent fraud and abuse — our legitimate interests.
  • To comply with legal obligations — where the law requires it.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed to run the Site:

  • Hostinger — website and application hosting.
  • Google — Google Analytics (measurement) and reCAPTCHA (spam prevention).
  • Elastic Email — delivery of contact-form messages to us.
  • U.S. Census Bureau and FEMA — geocoding and flood/hazard lookups for addresses entered in the Demo.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

6. International transfers

AtlasAdapt is based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the U.S. and elsewhere. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism.

7. How long we keep it

We keep contact-form enquiries for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Demo address-lookup results are cached for up to 30 days. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

8. How we protect your data

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls and spam protection — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights.

  • EEA / UK (GDPR): to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EEA, your national data-protection authority.
  • California (CCPA / CPRA): to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, email contact@atlasadapt.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorised agent where permitted.

10. Children

The Site is a business service intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and data sources. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their own policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date above. Significant changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
